Modiin - End of Summer Event
Submitted by admin on Mon, 23/03/2009 - 08:54.
23rd August - On Sunday evening, Modi’in Regional Committee held the Annual End of Summer event with a picnic in the Park Hadagim in Modi’n. The turnout was amazing! Thirty two families were there, all the new families that have made aliyah in the last year and the most recent being 7 weeks ago, to those who have been in Modi’in for some time now.
The Schaff duo of father (Trevor) and son (Daniel) who made aliyah 5 months ago, entertained us with the amazing songs and guitars, Mitzi Kotzin who made aliyah 2 years ago, entertained the children with her incredible scrapbooking ideas, Taliya Berkow, who made aliyah 1.5 years ago, brought her own unbelievable play dough for the kids which then becomes soap for the bath. The children were entertained and enthusiastic, small and big, with their endless activities.
Games were bought and played all evening long and the atmosphere was electrifying.
Another amazing success by modi’in regional committee!
Kol hakavod and thanks to all of those who made it possible.
Renee Penn
Chairperson
Telfed Regional Committee - Modiin
