A call to help the people of Nepal!

Can you help the people of Nepal? 

Following the devastating eathquake in Nepal last week, Teddy Saitowitz contacted Roshan Khanal of the Nepalese Embassy in Tel Aviv to see how we can help. 

She has responded that the following items are in high demand right now in Nepal:

Nate and Marcia Peretzman are greeted at the airport by daughter Keri, son-in-law Doron and grandchildren, Oriel,Tanya Batya,Tuvia & Yedidya. The Peretzmans are headed for Netanya, Via Yad Binyamin, where there family lives. Mazal Tov on your Aliyah!

Assuming the brace position

On Thursday afternoon South African Jewry assumed the “Brace position.” Israel had denied Blade Nzimande, Minister of Higher Education, a visa to visit “Palestine.” The crash was inevitable and I for one put my head in my hands and waited for the impact.
