Telfed - Remembereing the 6 millions Jews who lost their lives

On the 24th April 2017 in the Moadon in the Telfed Building on Schwartz Street under the direction of Dorron Kline and supervision of Dana Ben Chail the ceremony was held for Yom Hashuah.

This year was my second attendance for the Day of Rememberance at Telfed and a big thank you to Dorron and all his staff for arranging this moving and meaning full event.

After we all stood for the moment silence at the sound of the siren we proceeded with the lighting of six candles by members of the group and six readings by six others present.

The readings were about six individuals, each one representing one million victims of the Holocaust, but each one with their own life story.

Dorron further expanded by relating personal interviews with survivors and that sense of six million individual souls was felt by all.

Dorron certainly has the ability for creating the emotional atmosphere and we all thanks him and his staff for a most moving and memorable morning.
