Celebrating Tu B'Shvat at the Telfed Schwartz Building in Raanana
On a crisp and balmy evening, a small but enthusiastic group gathered at the Telfed Building on Schwartz Street in Raanana, to plant a beautiful young peach tree to celebrate Tu B'shvat.
Dorron started proceedings by placing the tree in the ground and the planting was finished off by many willing little hands. A prayer, in both Hebrew and English, was read by all the adults present. We then retired to the moadon for a short quiz, with various fruits, as prizes. The little ones shone with their knowledge and devoured their prizes. And so Tu B'shvat was celebrated with an air of festivity.
