Telfed's Jerusalem Regional Committee, in collaboration with WITS Alumni and World Mizrachi introduced Jerusalem residents to a "taste of Tel Aviv" without the commute. Telfed CEO, Dorron Kline, welcomed the audience and encouraged attendees to introduce themselves, creating a warm atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. Telfed's Jerusalem Regional Committee Chairman, Roy Scher, introduced the guest speaker for the evening, Debrah Marcus.

Debrah has published a cookery book 'Tel Aviv FOOD', which combines her love of entertaining and her love of the crazy city of Tel Aviv, her home for the past thirty plus years. In her presentation, Debrah spoke of how she has combined language and culture in both her professional and personal life. A qualified translator, Debrah also gives lectures and workshops on cross cultural communication.

After questions and answers the crowd mingled and enjoyed light refreshments. As the evening drew to an end, Roy Scher thanked Debrah for sharing her knowledge and experiences, and for leaving the audience with some food for thought,  before presenting her with a token gift of appreciation on behalf of Telfed, World Mizrachi and WITS Alumni.
