Meeting with Nefesh B’Nefesh

Nefesh B'Nefesh, or Jewish Souls United, is a nonprofit organization that promotes, encourages and facilitates Aliyah from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Last week, a Telfed delegation consisting of Dorron Kline (CEO), Batya Shmukler (Chairman), Shely Cohen (volunteer), Daniela Shapira (Aliyah & Klita Advisor), Ariela Siegel (Social Worker and Head of Aliyah & Klita), Yael Strausz (Employment Advisor) and Dudy Jacobs (Aliyah & Klita Advisor for Irgoen Olei Holland) met with Marc Rosenberg (Director Pre-Aliyah) and Rachel Berger (Director Post-Aliyah and Employment) at the Nefesh B’Nefesh headquarters in Jerusalem.

Nefesh B’Nefesh presented an overview of their services, procedures and events as comparisons were made and ideas exchanged. Possibilities for future cooperation were discussed.

It was interesting to note the differences and similarities between the two organizations. One thing remains the same and that is the common goal to help Olim.
