Employment Seminar (Raanana) March 12

We would like to invite you to participate in our next employment seminar, which we hope will assist you in better understanding the Israeli work culture and in finding employment more efficiently.

You might have heard that saying, “it’s not about what you know, it’s about who you know”. Being (relatively) new to Israel, you may not have the social network a sabra has. To help you overcome this hurdle, we will focus the upcoming session on Networking in Israel, how to utilize social skills, how to craft a winning “elevator speech” and how to use social media platforms such as LinkedIn, to find the job for you.

When: Monday March 12th, 10:00 – 13:00

Where: the TELFED offices at 19 Schwartrz st. Ra’anana

Who: This seminar will be conducted jointly by Michal Merten and Uri Bar Ner

Michal Merten is Telfed’s Career Coach and Employment Counsellor. She has more than 20 years’ experience in recruitment and over 10 years’ experience assisting Olim in understanding the Israeli job market and finding gainful employment. She has conducted numerous workshops on the subject, for olim, vatikim and sabras.

Uri Bar Ner worked at the Jewish Agency for 26 years, out of which, five as a shaliach in Johannesburg. Uri now lectures and facilitates training on adaptation and integration into the Israeli job market.

A token participation fee of 10ILS will be collected at the door.

Please RSVP to yael@telfed.org.il
