In loving Memory of Avraham Itzhak (aka "Coffee") Hoffman z"l

Avraham Itzhak Aubrey (nickname Coffee) Hoffman z"l passed away on June 21st 2017 .
He was buried in his former hometown of Arad. His family had been the 120th pioneer-family to come to Arad (a new town being built in the Negev) after making aliyah in 1963.  They moved there as the town needed a Licensed Electrician.
Afterwards, Aubrey was contracted to the Arad Municipality to run the temporary Cinema (first using a 16mm and then a 35mm projector) and operated it until 1976 when TV put cinemas out of business.
The building which had been used as the first Arad Cinema, today houses the Arad Museum, dedicated in the name of Hoffman.
After opening an Electrical Shop in the Arad Center, Aubrey moved to Eilat and ran a Hostel, "The Home," for Backpackers coming from Sinai to Eilat.
In the latter years when his health failed, he was at Naveh Hazahav Home in Petach Tikvah.
Bereaved and forever remembered  by Mary Hoffman (Beth Protea) Children, Lynette, Shoni & Louis Hoffman, Grandchildren and Greatgrandchildren."
Obituary written by Mary Hoffman.
